You’re Not Broken — Your Mind is Lying to You
When you’ve constantly found yourself in painful experiences, you will develop this notion that ‘you’re broken.’ You’ve been betrayed and abused by your loved ones and you feel so damaged on the inside. You feel that there must be something inherently wrong with you and nothing can ‘fix’ you. Most of your relationships have been toxic and most of your life experiences have been sucking the life out of you.
You’ve rarely hard glimpses of joy or happiness. When you look at your life, all you selectively see is pain and betrayal. That’s why you really think that you’re so broken and you will never be able to stop feeling that way. When you believe you’re broken, you will find yourself drifting towards life which is in alignment with the belief of being broken.
You will not take care of yourself and you may overindulge in sex, alcohol or just harmful activities because you feel that you’re not worthy of your own care. When you do this, it leads to more harmful consequences in life like attracting toxic relationships, obesity and other negative effects in your overall wellbeing.

All those will provide more evidence for the belief that you’re very broken. So, the belief that you’re broken is feeding you with lies of how you should just be carefree with zero boundaries. Your mind will be like, “You’re broken after all, why should you even care about yourself?” That’s how your mind will lie to you and even present you with evidence of how broken you are and how long you’ve been broken.

But Are you really broken?
I want to tell you this, you’re not broken and you can never be broken. Your inner belief system is the one which has been distorted or broken by your past relationships and experiences. You’ve been through a lot in life and most of it has been just pain and betrayal.
Your past partners have called you names, gaslighted you and verbally abused you and you’ve grown up with that negative belief of how flawed you’re. Your subconscious mind has been constantly accumulating information from your relationships and life circumstances and using them to develop beliefs that shape how you think and behave.
You’re not your life experiences, you’re that voice beyond those beliefs. That’s the voice that can never be broken, it can only be clouded. It can only be clouded by past negativities but when you start healing, you’re clearing those clouds so that you can get to the authentic self. You are what’s beyond what those hurt people have done to you. Do not listen to that voice and work on dissolving those negative beliefs.
