It might feel like no one can be trusted anymore because the person you once shared wonderful moments with has now taken a dark turn. You start to view things and situations from a negative perspective, even when something good is happening to help you on your journey. You may become a bit suspicious or tend to focus on the negative aspects of the good. Your outlook on life has been distorted by this betrayal, and you might become convinced that the world is a dark and untrustworthy place. You might even convince yourself that you’ll never enter into a relationship again, and you view yourself as the one who failed in the previous relationship, resistant to any contrary opinions.

Challenging those Negative Beliefs

When you work on challenging those negative beliefs by processing the emotions and sensations that hold these beliefs in place, you will regain clarity.
